Republican Candidates

Leading up to the Presidential Election to be held next year the Republican party are attempting to select a candidate to run against the current president Obama. The first primary was held this past Tuesday in the state of Iowa. I would like you to research the Republican candidates and then do two things. First I would like you to take part in our polling of the candidate that you think you could live with to run this country. The poll is to the right of this article. Second I would like you to post a comment about one of the candidates. The comment can be either a reason why to vote for the person or a reason not vote for a person. Please be respectful of other peoples comments and opinions.

  2. Jimmy McMillan

The former mayoral, gubernatorial and senatorial candidate for the Rent Is Too Damn High Party announced his candidacy for the Republican presidential nomination on December last year. Explaining his decision not to contest the Democratic nomination, a party he was formerly registered with, karate expert McMillan was quoted as saying "the rent is too damn high." The flamboyant Vietnam veteran also gave some words of advice to President Obama, “If you don’t do your job right, I am coming at you!"

  5. I'd probably vote for Ron Paul, since his opinions and ideas could make a lot more headway than that mormon guy or that tea party chick.

  17. I believe Ron Paul is trying to become President of the United States for all the right reasons. He is truly trying to better America and safe this country for further disaster. Ron Paul is the right choice for the next President of the United States of America.
