Using Photo Booth take a picture of yourself.

Import the photo of yourself into Gimp. Using the Colors pulldown menu go to Treshold and remove the colors from the photo. Using the Tool Bar use different pencils, paint brushes and paint bucket to fill your image with colors.

Tuesday 2-21-2012 Assignment

Using Gimp Bring up two different photos. One photo is of a billboard the other is of you. Take a photo of yourself using  Photobooth or bring a photo off the Internet.  Under "Tools" pull down select "Transform Tools" - "Scale."  For this assignment scale the image to 260 x 180 pixels. Cut or Copy the image.  Now take your curser to the image of the billboard and select paste. Your image should now appear on top of the billboard. This is where it gets fun!

Today's assignment is to take a photo off of the Internet and make the following modifications in GIMP.
1. Modify Color using one of the tree ways we experimented with this past Tuesday.
2. Use four different filters to modify the photo.

b. Decor
c. Light & Shadow
d. Your choice

Place the modified photo and the original photo into a word document and send to me.

Wednesday 2-15-2012 Assignment

Using the program "Gimp" I would like you to play, yes play with the various "Filters" available to manipulate photos with. Using the "Palm Tree" photo from yesterday I would like for you to modify the image  by experimenting with the filters. Print out the photo at the end of the period.

Today's assignment:  Using the lasso tool in "preview"  remove one of the images from your Quad photo shoot and place it into a photo from the Internet.
